A native of Chelsea and Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chef Steve Thomas developed a love for cooking by helping his Grandmother Hazel in the kitchen when he was a child. Since attending culinary school, Steve has worked as an apprentice for Craig Common at The Common Grill in Chelsea, Michigan, and served as an Executive Chef at a handful of respectable establishments including Nordstrom.
He has been featured on The Food Network as part of The Girl Scouts of America: Cookie Bake Off and participated in multiple March of Dimes Celebrity Chef Auctions.. He has been featured in articles in the Lansing State Journal as well as City Pulse Magazine. Chef Steve was also part of the catering team to honor President Gerald Ford in 2004 at The University of Michigan.
Steve and his family, wife Amber and son Oliver, moved to the Tampa area in 2013 and look forward to fulfilling his dream of opening and running his own food truck beginning in the fall of 2017. Steve's eldest son, Connor, has chosen to follow in his footsteps and attend culinary school and become a chef in Michigan.
